I have a friend who teaches ESL in the same school district as I. As you can probably imagine, her students give her lots of good material. This story comes from her, with her permission of course. One day a student said to her:
"Miss, you are as typical American: small head, long legs. Only you no have long legs."
Nothing like students to keep you humble. Who knew those were typical American traits?
